“Poetographer” / “Philosopher Poet” / “Producer Poet”

Sasha Smith is a 2019 MFA candidate in the creative writing program at Cornell University. She is a recipient of the 2016 Poetry Project’s Emerge-Surface-Be Fellowship. She holds degrees from New York University and CUNY. Previous work has been published in The Southampton Review and Poet’s Country. Her manuscript was an honorable mention in the 2017 Cutbank Chapbook Contest. Sasha is a Jamaican-American Bronxite poet and instructor that currently lives and works in Ithaca, NY.
